Koshiro Ono received the B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from Nihon University in 1971, the M.Sc., in 1973, and the degree of Dr. Eng. from Nagoya University in 2000. He is currently Executive Chief Researcher at Japan Automobile Research Institute (JARI), Senior Researcher of Institute for Traffic Accident Research and Data Analysis (ITARDA) and Visiting Professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology (TIT).
